Last weekend my parents celebrated their anniversary and my dad's birthday. And my mom's birthday was only about a month ago! So I wanted to whip up something special for their visit.

We snacked on these icy desserts all weekend. It's a bit like eating a date cookie, cheesecake, and raspberry sorbet all at once. I used this recipe from Sarah Britton, an amazingly talented chef and food photographer. It's surprisingly easy, totally raw, and the only animal product it calls for is raw honey. Definitely recommended.
I'm not the only one. I've seen at least two other bloggers inspired by this same post! Great minds eat alike. ;-)
